Community involvement is very important to the Boracchias. Where would we be without our community? Each of us has been influenced by our biological and social environment, and researchers are learning that social environment is just as relevant to a person's modus operandi (also known as M.O.) as biological factors.
As children of business owners Lea and Marc both started working at a young age. Working young instills great responsibility skills. To he or she who much is given (and much has been lost to don’t be fooled) but our outlook is definitely it’s all relative; and much is expected. As a result of all they've been fortunate to be exposed to we've become a responsible pair and have been helping mentor since we weren't yet adults.
Marc has done motivational speaking in the past and Lea was a founding partner of Youth for Youth which partnered children from one of the wealthiest cities (Tiburon, Larkspur, Ross) with children in low income areas. Positive influence breeds a better world for our children. We use these same skills in Boracchia Wiviott Wealth Partners, LLC for our clients.
Success take times. When that time arrives, the success feels sweet. Success is even sweeter when you've done your part to earn it.
Their families also are very involved in community. His Dad is a business man and also runs a foundation for those most in need, her Mom has served on town council, land use planning and they organized a park for all the locals in Lea’s hometown of Tiburon, CA. The park is named Leo J Tugenberg Park in honor of Lea's Great Grand Father Leo who was a big philanthropist only after a "rags to riches" story going from janitor to Milwaukee's largest developer.
Growing up the daughter of a realtor, entrepreneur MBA Mom who ran an architectural digest award - winning company the families are just all about others. Lea’s Dad is also a hero and one of the countless health workers who take on extra complicated infectious diseases and oversees the biggest private hospital in San Francisco. This helps you understand why Lea is so caring and courageous as well as brilliant and the exact same goes for Marc. (The two are high school sweethearts!)
On a voluntary basis, we have decades in Big Brothers Big Sisters and our “littles” as they’re called, I've had two over decades and Marc has one; they mean so much to us! I've also served on the Board and Recruiting Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters. You can easily start something with them too! Most areas have it's own chapter and Boys and Girls Clubs are also similar!
Through the companies Lea and Marc have advised they remain focused on affordable housing/consumption, e-commerce, and/or solving the education crisis as well.
The team at Boracchia Wiviott Wealth Partners helps support education, entrepreneurs, and women, minorities, and good people around the world. We’ve been the victim of hate crime for this and it is even more important we continue to inspire our clients and community. We educate alot on this and have served as inclusion advisors for users and employees to have more accommodating experiences.
Perhaps other causes important to you are on the blog Success Strivers from Lea’s young school days. (Please note the team unfortunately lost access to this blog so content is old, it’s a better use of your time to contact us here to become a client.) (Not to confuse with SuccessStriver which someone spoofed!)
Lea was awarded with a distinction for service from the Marin County Board of Supervisors for her help in raising awareness about the major issues the Bay Area like many places deals with from underage consumption of alcohol. She was a fledging mamber of Youth for Youth before she could even drive. In addition she was recognized in the newspaper for her leadership with Big Brothers Big Sisters weekly at the Manzanita Center in Marin City, Calif.
Marc earned worker of the day twice for his work with the Guardsmen of San Francisco to help raise $1.1mil to send kids of low income backgrounds to private schools and camps.
Lea and Marc were honored to be asked to speak at various tech incubators and financial organizations, for more about this visit our press page.
As a member of the invite only tech elite social club Modernist, and early investor in it, the team also proudly featured Lea in their private Modernist community and continues to.
Marc was asked to be featured in Modernist too, but he was too busy working on his investment strategy for clients. Maybe next year but he was honored and is completely devoted to his portfolios.
Lea also received the proudly named after her Above and Beyond Award from San Francisco State University for her dedication as editor-in-chief, which she was nominated for of their college magazine, XPress, a recipient of the prestigious Society of Professional Journalists Award.
Education is very important. As someone who was home-schooled for part of high school, Lea is a thought leader on putting together the important pieces to succeed for each individual.
To help people plan and get ahead it's also important to help raise awareness in urban areas about the great impact Friends of the Urban Forest achieves. Every tree counts in the fight against climate change. When we were permanent in San Francisco Lea served on the fund committee of Spark that provides micro grants and loans to women across the world who have business plans. We also support CASA for children who have suffered abuse.
Education is very important. Marc and Lea have also been big supporters of the Guardsmen who raises money for 250 kids to attend private school throughout the Bay Area & otherwise wouldn't be able to, Guardsmen also funds summer camps for 2,500 low income Bay Area children to attend every summer. SMART is another great organization that helps children of low income communities apply for these grants. Lea is also an active member of Junior League (it’s mainly 30 something year olds, some 20 and some 40 so not exactly a junior organization but it’s name is out of respect for our seniors and those known as sustainers). The Junior League has been around for over a century and was started by women who didn’t want to sit around and drink tea all day, at least not every day ;). Lea brought in immense fundraising dollars for their biggest fundraiser, Home Tour, helped organize it, served on Advovacy Committee to hold responsible those who repeatedly don't do their jobs in protecting the community, and her favorite position is actually helping organizations understand the opportunity and get grant money from the League. One that is near and dear that she with them successfully earned a grant for is CityYouth.
CityYouth is an amazing organization providing youth the stability they deserve to get out of the juvenile justice system and thrive. Their success rate is IMMENSE. Visit CityYouthNow.
Also Lea and Marc are extremely passionate about providing opportunity for those of any disadvantaged background employment and other financial planning resources.

Again success take times. When that time arrives for our clients, the success feels sweet.
